Week 1 - MBA 6101 –ChatGPT vs Google search

With the advancement of AI, I didn’t even think that there would be something like ChatGPT, why, I have no idea. Before this class I was unaware of ChatGPT, I typically always used google to find the answers to any burning questions I had. I asked both google and Chat GPT the same question and got varying answers, of course but in this instance asking both which major issue the city of Atlanta should address ChatGPT gave a very easy answer whereas google I have to search articles which is what I am used to doing. I think it could be used a good tool and a good starting point and can be used to generate ideas and then research on them further.

Being my first-time hearing about and exploring this tool, I found it to be useful and I was surprised at how fast the bot responded to my inquiries. I think I will use this tool again in the future, but I will also ask more specific questions and see what the responses are like. It is quite enjoyable to have sure a vast array of information at your fingertips that is quick, especially if you’re in a hurry.

With the convenience of both websites at my disposal, I was hoping that ChatGPT would give me an issue that maybe wasn’t as obvious as it was; traffic here is horrendous and everyone who lives here of has visited here knows that. It’s incredible to me how far we have come from the days of encyclopedias and library book checkouts.
