Week4- MBA 6101--Marketing Consulting Ad

This week I am working on brining my ad campaign to life. I want to take people on a journey with me to help them on their marketing journey by way of consulting. I plan to use the knowledge I gained from class thus far and the readings from Guerrilla Marketing to give people advice and tips on how to successfully grow their businesses. I would also like to off the skills I’ve learned to help them be able to do these things themselves in the future if they don’t want to contract out and pay for consulting. Below you can see the start of my ad journey.




I think that using what I have learned in class so far will help it stick and putting it into practice will help make it more real/help me deepen the knowledge I have. It will also help me in the future when I try to figure out what I want to use my MBA for and if its in marketing, I think I will have a leg up.

I think its important to put my ad out there in a way so people don’t have to guess what it is and what they will be getting. I want them to know its for marketing consulting from a graduate MBA student. It lets them know that I am still learning, but I can also help them grow as a business at the same time, we can both help each other.

                                            

I chose my keywords based on what I am offering and what someone might look up if they were looking for a marketing consultant and/or someone with an MBA offering these services.

  With the advancement of AI, I didn’t even think that there would be something like ChatGPT, why, I have no idea. Before this class I was unaware of ChatGPT, I typically always used google to find the answers to any burning questions I had. I asked both google and Chat GPT the same question and got varying answers, of course but in this instance asking both which major issue the city of Atlanta should address ChatGPT gave a very easy answer whereas google I have to search articles which is what I am used to doing. I think it could be used a good tool and a good starting point and can be used to generate ideas and then research on them further.   Being my first-time hearing about and exploring this tool, I found it to be useful and I was surprised at how fast the bot responded to my inquiries. Week 1 - MBA 6101 – The Impact and implications of AI

  While reading chapter 1 of Surfing the Tsunami and reading about robots my first thought was the cartoon the Jetsons, where they had Rosie the robot to help around the house and their flying cars. Although we don’t have the flying cars…yet we do have “robots” to help with things around the house. I for one am grateful to have my Roomba so that I don’t have to vacuum my own floors anymore. It makes it easier to spend time doing other things knowing that, that specific chore will be taken care of.   I can still remember when computers were these big bulky machines, but they were all the rage, with AOL and dial up internet then the shift to more sleek modern looking computers connected to Wi-Fi. Week 8-MBA 6101-Listening to the consumer

  The chapter on research and consumer feedback in week 8 of Guerilla Marketing covers a very important step in marketing that, in the end, will determine if a product or business is successful. Listening to consumers can be paramount in ones success, the consumer will let you know what they want and you can listen to the masses or try and change a good thing which sometimes may have a very negative affect. A good example they used was when Coca Cola introduces new coke without getting feed back from they consumers first and saw it fail, I believe the word the marking officer used was miserably. They say this after they had already introduced it and had to pull the plug, go back, and get consumer feedback which they used and began to make a profit again.
